For companies managing trailer pools, where drivers often operate without dedicated trailers, efficient trailer dispatch and flow are essential. This approach ensures high trailer utilization and smooth workflows, enabling seamless movement of trailers through various operational processes. To support these needs, we’re excited to introduce our first set of improvements aimed at streamlining trailer continuity.
Assign Trailers to Manifests Before Truck Dispatch: Plan ahead by assigning trailers to manifests early, ensuring a more organized workflow.
Display Trailer in Manifest: Inform drivers about trailers that are linked to manifests, to streamline Drop and Hook.
Manifest Splits Pass Trailer Information: When a manifest is split (e.g., a local driver drops a load at the yard for an OTR driver to pick up), trailer details are automatically transferred, maintaining continuity.
Location Updates for Non-GPS Trailers: Trailers without GPS now update their location based on completed events from assigned manifest stops, enabling accurate tracking even when trailers are dropped off and not picked up.

A long-requested feature is finally here! You can now email invoices directly from Vektor’s Billing pages and Order Details, complete with all attachments. This update includes powerful customization options to enhance your invoicing process:
Send from Your Domain: Use your linked email sender to ensure invoices are sent directly from your domain, maintaining a professional appearance.
Customizable Reply-To Email: Adjust the reply-to email address for better communication and faster responses.
This feature streamlines your billing workflow, making it easier than ever to manage and send invoices.

The Rate Matrix has received its first major update, introducing powerful new features to simplify pay management and rate calculations:
You can now define pay rates for drivers and carriers on specific lanes, ensuring accurate and transparent compensation.
Example: For a lane with a flat rate of $1000, you can allocate $250 for driver pay or $750 for carrier pay.
The Rate Matrix now simplifies handling multiple legs within a single order, ensuring accurate rate application for both flat rate and per mile calculations:
When multiple legs are identified within one order, the matrix applies rates based on each segment:
Example 1: 1 Pick in NJ → 1 Drop in PA applies the NJ→PA rate.
Example 2: 1 Pick in PA → 1 Drop in NJ applies the PA→NJ rate.
For per mile rates, the matrix considers the furthest destination within the order to determine the applicable rate:
Example: 1 Pick in NJ → 1 Pick in PA → 1 Drop in GA applies the NJ→GA rate.
These updates ensure precise rate calculations for complex orders, improving accuracy and efficiency.

The Split and Manifest Stop Creation feature has been enhanced to simplify your workflow and improve efficiency:

Proximity-Based Recommendations: Suggested facilities are optimized based on the manifest route, ensuring they are within realistic proximity for seamless load management.
